Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891. His birthday is celebrated every year as Ambedkar Jayanti. Almost 34 years after his death, he was posthumously awarded the highest civilian award in India, the Bharat Ratna Award. India commemorates Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar's 132nd birth anniversary this year.
